Lila

$800.00
sold out

Year: 2020

Size: 16” x 16”

Medium: Acrylic and oil on canvas

Artist Statement: “Lila” is a Sanskrit word meaning “effortless play”. An inner child piece, I see much of myself in Lila. She is a painting in which I continued to practice “playing” while painting. Allowing myself to simply paint rather than judge the painting. As we age and become wiser we must always hold gratitude toward Lila, to laugh and be effortless. With snake around her neck she is also courageous and unapologetic of her power to play.

Original available for purchase, Certificate of Authentic included and signed by the artist. To inquire contact hello@jasminebruce.com
