Meet the artist
Jasmine Bruce is a visionary illustrator, muralist, writer and teacher from in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her work deeply explores emotional and psychological patterns, as well as subconscious realms. She seeks to better understand the self through the lens of compassion, grace, mythology and philosophy across various ancestries, including her own West African and Eastern European ancestry. She believes exploring and embracing our most authentic self, creates harmony in the world. Founder of Dreamweavers LLC, she hosts classes to teach others about powerful creative practices and shares tools that support transformation and liberation.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Grand Valley State University and in 2020 was awarded Grand Rapids Business Journal Newsmaker of the Arts and 40 under 40 honoree for her impactful work in the community.
